Reservations require a credit card deposit equal to the first night’s lodging to book your room.

What is your cancellation policy? 2017-03-17T14:40:38+00:00

In the event a confirmed reservation must be cancelled or rescheduled, the following policies apply:

CANCELLATION INSURANCE:
For a nominal fee, this service is offered to protect our deposit from unforeseen events. If it is necessary to cancel or reschedule a reservation, all fees and forfeitures will be waived if the cancellation or changes are made by 10 a.m. of the confirmed arrival date. Cancellation insurance must be purchased 10 or more days prior to arrival date.

REFUND:
For a cancellation received at least ten days prior to confirmed arrival date, an uninsured deposit is refundable, less a $30 administrative fee.

NO REFUND:
An uninsured deposit is nonrefundable for a cancellation received 9 or fewer days prior to the confirmed arrival date.

EARLY DEPARTURE/DELAYED ARRIVALS
An uninsured deposit is subject to 50% forfeit if either date is later or departure date is earlier than confirmed.

No, most of Bar Harbor is rocky coastline. There is a small public beach located next to the town marina. Sand Beach, a popular destination in Acadia National Park is a great beach to explore and swim at and is only about a 10 minute drive from the inn.

Do you have any restaurants on site? 2016-04-11T15:39:28+00:00

Yes. The Bar Harbor Inn has two restaurants on our property. The Reading Room offers fine dining with beautiful views of Frenchman Bay and is open for breakfast and dinner daily. The Terrace Grill offers casual outdoor dining that overlooks the bay and serves lunch and dinner.

The Bar Harbor Inn does not offer rentals on site, but there are many places to rent bikes, kayaks and canoes in downtown Bar Harbor.

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in all buildings at the Bar Harbor Inn Resort.

Yes, we do have an outdoor heated pool and hot tub. The pool and hot tub are typically open from Memorial Day to Columbus Day.

Yes, we have plenty of free onsite parking.

We are about a 5 minute drive to a few different entrances from Acadia.

Our property is located right down town, next to the town pier. Main Street is just a short distance up our driveway.

Check In starts at 2:30pm, Check out is by 11:00am.
