Terrace Grille: Bar Harbor’s Best Location for Outdoor Dining
The Terrace Grille is closed for the 2018 season. We will be reopening on Friday, May 10th, 2019 for the 2019 season.
Fresh ocean air and stunning views surround you at the Terrace Grille, one of Bar Harbor’s premier outdoor restaurants overlooking Frenchman Bay and the Porcupine Islands. The Terrace Grille is centrally located at the end of West Street in downtown Bar Harbor next to the town pier—just look for the yellow umbrellas at the waterfront.
Enjoy the salt air breeze and the warmth of the sun at the outdoor Terrace Grille, the perfect casual dining spot to experience a picturesque lunch or dinner. You’ll sit at our front lawn overlooking the bay, under a spacious yellow umbrella sipping delicious specialty cocktails and enjoying the best local Maine cuisine.
With numerous local, fresh seafood offerings and healthy entree choices, the Terrace Grille is a perfect stop during a day of exploring Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Our popular Downeast Lobster Bake includes steamed mussels and clams, 1 ¼ pound freshly caught Maine Lobster with roasted red potatoes, corn on the cob and blueberry corn bread followed up with a slice of fresh blueberry pie. The menu features various appetizers, a variety of fresh seafood options, healthy salads, and satisfying burgers and sandwiches. Choose from a myriad of locally themed cocktails and beers brewed right here on Mount Desert Island. Don’t forget to indulge in a slice of wild Maine blueberry pie or one of our many other delightful desserts.
Our professional Terrace Grille staff will provide you with a wealth of local knowledge during your meal including the best activities, hiking trails and unique Maine shops to visit.
The Terrace Grille offers the complete package—fresh, delicious dishes, amazing views, and unmatched guest services. We invite you to enjoy an afternoon on our front lawn, while taking in the majestic natural beauty of our coastal landscape, and experience authentic, fresh Maine cuisine.
